The Italian Bakery

I've driven by this place and had no idea it is as big as it is. Who knew they have a great seating area inside to eat. I came because I heard they have great Portuguese tarts (yes I know its Italian), which unfortunately they were sold out of. I picked up a couple of desserts and they were great. Service was friendly and helpful. I cant wait to return and try some of the great food offerings they have. I'll be back soon!

Went for lunch. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Its a one stop shop for meals, deli and dry goods. Food is always outstanding.

They did a wonderful job with our wedding cake. It was exactly what we were looking for and it tasted amazing. All of our guests complimented us on it!

Average breakfast, staff restaurant side very matter of fact. Great bakery and friendly staff on this side. Almost like two different businesses with different customer values. Highly recommend the bakery. Restaurant side unfortunately makes this a three star review.

Absolutely the yummiest family style Italian restaurant in Barrie! But it is not only an amazing bakery.....their lasagnas , veal chicken Parmesan, endless choices for lunches and dinner...Then there are the desserts , no words needed extraordinary.... Don't forget breakfast as well.....the prices are so reasonable and the food once again 5 star! Very cozy atmosphere and can be very busy in peak hours, worth the wait!

Home cooked wonderful meals. There are so many choices and the price is incredibly reasonable. Yummy delicious Italian food. I go there for lunch at least three times a month and they have an incredible pizza station as well as desserts galore!

Best place to eat good food but its expensive but you get what you pay for so up to you if ur worth it

I cannot say enough good stuff about the fine owners of this establishment I drive tractor trailer and came up on them last week they fed me very well for a very very reasonable price and tonight I stop by they were closed again due to cleaning and they just gave me stuffed meatballs they look after me very well and I will not forget it maximum respect to these people thank you very much

Love this place. Great bread and hot table. Pasteries are fantastic. Wish they were open on sundays but respect the family day as well.

You get what you pay for food made from scratch with fresh simple ingredients old school calabrese. The sauce and bread are made fresh every morning. Compare that to fast food where god knows what's in it. This place is always busy for a reason.

Really good Cinamon buns and Portuguese custard tarts. Lovely looking breads.

This is a top notch bakery that also has a cafeteria style food counter serving hot meals from sandwiches to full dinners. Although you line up to get your food I have never been disappointed with the servings or taste. You can get frozen food and a variety of grocery items you are unlikely to find elsewhere.

This place is not just a bakery but a great shop too. They have lots of unique Italian groceries that you can't find anywhere in Barrie.

Very good selection of Italian foods. Good place to find dried sausages and great place for buns and bread. Have never eaten from their restaurant but it looks very nice. They also have a nice Deli which we have used previously and was very good.
